The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) through the Women’s Human Rights Center (WHRC) organized a three-day Training on Reproductive Rights on December 6-8, 2012. The activity was funded by the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA) was aimed at building awareness and skill among staff and Commissioners on Human Reproduction, the Human Rights Framework of Reproductive Rights, Related HR Issues on RR, the Philippine RH Bill, Causes of Maternal and Infant Mortality and the work of NHRIs on Reproductive Rights. Dr. Junice D. Melgar, Executive Director of Likhaan was the resource person for the three-day orientation.
