June 2, 2004 BANGSAMORO YOUTH IN THE COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS The BangsaMoro Youth is in the Commission on Human Rights for a two-day human rights orientation, from June 2-3, 2004. The seminar aims to make future leaders out of the young men and women of the BangsaMoro organization and be role models to their fellow young people in the promotion and protection of human rights. This is still in the connection with the Commission's continuous advocacy in spreading the message of hope and peace to the Filipinos. Experts coming from the Commission gave them various lectures on basic human rights concepts and principles for their first day. None other than the Chairperson, Purificacion V. Quisumbing, herself welcomed them and gave them an inspirational message. For their second day activity, the BangsaMoro youth members prepared a simple program entitled "Youth to be established as leaders" . Wherein they performed in a short play that showcased the plight of today's youth and what's ahead of them for their future. For more information, please contact The NCSMCO, at Tel.
